Rehearsal Dinners are one of our most popular style of events. With so many spaces to choose from for sizes ranging from 8 guests in a private room to 80 guests in a private room, there’s a spot for your rehearsal.
Engagement parties are particularly popular with Briar Common. Especially the rooftop patio in the summertime. Enjoy views of the the park and bask in the sun on the rooftop patio.
Our flexible space options make it easy to reserve and the perfect amount for all types of parties. Make it even more fun with custom labels for Crowlers of our beer. Check out our beer page for ideas!
We cannot speak highly enough of Calvin and the entire staff of Briar Common! They were easily available at all times and Calvin was always quick to respond to emails. Perhaps the best part of it, other than the actual party, was the transparency of the cost throughout the whole process. The communication, setup, party and cleanup were so easy that all we had to do was enjoy the party. We absolutely love Briar Common and very much recommend they be considered for your event!

My fiancé and I recently held our engagement party here, and couldn’t have had a better experience. From the very beginning, Calvin, their events manager was so friendly, knowledgeable and organized. During our “consultation”, he provided us with beers and cocktails to try and explained all costs. We ended up reserving the upper level of the restaurant, and it was very comfortable for all of our about 35 guests, although we did move a lot of the tables to the side (to hold our desserts, gifts, balloons and decorations – all of those we did ourselves – not provided by Briar Common) so it was more of a standing and mingling event. Lots of the guys took advantage of the connecting patio and the lights they had up along with the heaters was perfect! We had an open bar of all beers, wines, and two cocktails – the London Fog and Raspberry Fizz. London Fog was a hit – heard that the Raspberry drink was a little sugary from a few people. For food, we had a variety of apps – sliders (which I LOVED!), buffalo cauliflower (people were so surprised that they were eating cauliflower, it was a good), brussel sprouts, chips and dip on the bar. Seemed to be enough food for our group. We went over our time and Calvin and the bartenders had no problem with that. Briar Common went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and had fun – I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any party you are planning in the future or just for brunch or dinner. We will be back and are so happy that our engagement started off on such a high note!! Cheers!
